Prayers for you...

Bangkok is famous for the "Four Face Buddha" or I've learned it here the Erawan Shrine. The shrine is located by the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, at the Ratchprasong intersection of Ratchadamri Road in Pathum Wan distric, Bangkok, Thailand. Every day, thousands of devotees both Thai and foreigners pray at the shrine to seek blessings, fulfillment of dreams, success in personal lives and careers (including me!).

My colleague that brought me there told me that there's another shrine that is just opposite Erawan's which is now becoming popular as well. This is a new one with 2 shrines side by side. According to the locals, one is see pray and seek for success in personal lives and careers, another is for blessing in love and relationships. This explains that at one side, the offerings are in yellow/golden color flowers and the other is roses/red flowers.

My yellow flower on the little elephant's nose!

Red roses spread across the altar where devotees pray for a good relationship and love. Mine was one of them too!

@Bangkok City

Bangkok City! What comes into mind... Shopping, Tom Yum, Mango Sticky Rice! sadly... I haven't done any shopping at all.... been having Tom Yum Kung and Mango Sticky Rice 2 days in a row!

BTS Sky Train is something new since I was here 5 years ago... everything totally different! Took the BTS to Siam Paragon for dinner on Monday, it was pack!! I was standing right at the door. Everywhere was full of people walking around, every restaurant was full! Finish work late today, feeling lazy to go out for dinner and don't feel like being squashed like sardine in the train, therefore ordered In Room Dining.

Ceasar Salad with Salmon, Wild Mushroom Soup, Grapefruit juice (bitter :S), Fried fishcake that wraps on sugarcane (taste quite good!), bread is complimentary. Looks good ya! Kah~~~ don't really know what does it mean but everybody seems to say Kah~~ (for ladies), Kap~~ (for men) at the end of every sentense.... Yes kah~~ ok kah~~ Room Service kah~~

Oh ya, caught a really nice sunset today on my balcony. Wish you are here with me dear!

OK, gotta prepare for next day's teaching... Kah~~
