Hey! I'm back (^_^)

Finally... after like.. 3 months plus? I'm writing again... this is because low life people like me still do not have the all popular broadband connection at home like everybody does.. yeah.. I'm still using the old "tut-tut..sggggggrrrrrrrbbbbrrrrrr" dial-up method at home...

I'm glad to announce here that "I've finally found a job!!" started working in late August.. so now I'm in my 2nd month. Work is fine.. it's a whole new experience for me as what I am doing has totally nothing to do with what I am studying in Uni... I learned new stuff everyday, met new people.. and I'm glad to say that my colleagues are really fun bunch of people :) My work requires me to go to sites some of the time, it's pretty fun..cuz personally, I'm not that into 8hours of desk job everyday staring at the computer (ok, staring at the computer is a MUST I'd say nowadays for everybody). Today was the first day that I went to this company for a meeting where the people are I'm meeting with are Japanese. I used to have a Japanese classmate in college years and I've always fancy the way they communicate and their language. I actually took up Japanese as a foreign language in my Uni years and I was thinking.. good maybe I would be able to try them out a bit this time to the real Japanese... But then... when the time comes... all of us ended up discussing in English as I was too nervous to find the right word and I was afraid that I may pronounce it wrongly and end up in total embarassment ;P sigh.. I wish I would be a little more confident then...

Yeah, today is my last day of work and I'm home early (^_^) My company has decided to shut down for a week for the DeepaRaya holiday which is good news but not to everyone as they'll deduct from our anual leave. Please be remind that I'm still under probation (6 months.. sigh) and they're deducting my leaves in advance! Now my leave record is showing a negative.... (T_T)

Oh ya, I just watched DOOM yesterday in 1Utama, they have the nices cinema I'd say, spacious!!! But the movie was...ok maybe guys will love it... there's a mixture of comments from my colleagues after the movie, ranging for "WOW! Salute to DOOM the game!" (mostly guys) to "Yawn.... " <-- that's me ;P and some other girls. Honestly the begining was not bad... actually I was expecting a story plot or somethig at the begining but the movie just started like the game, then more shooting, more blood and eerie sound effect (it's not as eerie as the game though) and I actually started feeling dizzy after too much of the gun-point view (or whatever you guys call that) and yawning after that :p so 2nd half was crap, but one of my friend that was a gamers freak stressed that ecstacy starts from there... uh huh?!!

The Beautiful Angkor Wat

It's been a while since I last post. Me and my family went to the Pattaya-SiamReap-Bangkok tour for 7days. It was awesome! ok let's start one by one..here goes..

PATTAYA - man, the place is full of night clubs, strips bar, girls, everywhere! ok.. call me ulu...but this is really my first time :P u get to see sooo many things, photos posted on walls to attract customers, posters, anything under the sun! wow.... ok back to the topic.. we reached bangkok on 30th May, that is Monday I think. travelled to Pattaya by coach...yeah..from now on everywhere is by coach! u'll see later how suffering it is... Pattaya beach was nice...but the weather is so hot.. I got a temp tattoo from a stall and that woman said it will last me 3 weeks...but then... it just faded even before I got back here...sigh.. we didn't play much of the watersport cuz it's way too expensive, guess that's how the local made fortune out of tourist like us.. are they thinking that all tourist come loaded with gold bars and cash? one have to bargrain everything from food to souvenirs and clothing. For one thing.. i'm bad in bargaining.. the tour guide said u could get them cut almost 60% of the original price that they set but still.. all i can get from them is like maybe 5-10 bucks less if lucky i'll get a cut of 20... and it still cost me over hundred. I really need to brush up my bargaining skill from mum! mum..where are u??!!! i wanna buy this blouse! come help me! :P heheheh....ok next..

SEAM REAP - ok it's part of Cambodia...first... from Pattaya..we're travelling by coach over to the border..i think the name is Poi Preit..am I right? then from Poi Preit to Seam Reap...and wow.. the journey is sure a memorable wan... imagine 5 hours ride in the bus, all the way on this bumpy red sandy and rocky road... thomp thomp thomp... u know the distance is only 160++ km apart and it took us 5 hours due to bad road condition and occasional flat tyres :P It is really some experience, and seeing the great Angkor Wat makes the journey worth it ;) the whole Angkor City is gorgeous! it's like a divine place on its own. The Angkor Thom of the Angkor City is a huge city that has a great number of temples in it, and Angkot Wat is one of the most distinguish and the largest of all. It was beautiful.... I regret that I dont have the photos with me now, I promise I'll upload them in my next post. You have to see it for yourself....the place is huge...every temple has their own story and unique design. To top it of..we had great local tour guide (and he looks like Wong Hei too *giggles*), he told us fascinating stories, how each temples were related to each other, the king's habits, the interesting corners, he makes you feel like u're actually inside the era.. I'll explain more on the next post when i have all the pics with me ;)
Next, we woke up at 4am to the Tonle Sap lake...the sunrise was a beauty... it's been a while since i last enjoy the serene view of a sunrise... Tonle sap is a lake where the ppl live and make a living on a floating houses... it's a very unique scene...the houses all are made of wood and straws...and all of them measures about 2mx2m... imagine living in such a house with 7 family members...yes...this is how their life is...it's pityful, everywhere you go there's children surrounding you begging for money.. It makes me feel how lucky i am...

BANGKOK - back to the city... it's a total scene change from the muddy dusty environment to a place with cars, traffic jams, shopping mall etc. Here is my first ride of the famous taxi Tuk-Tuk.. it's cool...they drive pretty fast and they can get u anywhere u want and of cuz...with a negotiated price :P u really need to bargain everything that's under the sun there :P We went to the famous Four-Face buddha where ppl say if u'd pray sincerely, your wishes will come thru...but u'll need to come back and repay the "debt". There's a story about a woman, she wished and she made a promise that if her wish comes thru, she'll dance naked in front of the buddha, In deed, her wish came thru.. she dismissed it as just a co-incidence however, since then, she always has this troubling nightmare... In the end she came back to Bangkok, wrapped the compound of the place and finally perform her dance to "repay" the buddha. I don't know if u'd believe it...but the place is really crowded with people from all over.. european, indians, the locals, chinese...u see it all... ask me wat's my wish? i'm so occupied with beating the crowd in lighting candles, josstick, hanging flowers etc...there so many ppl!!!!!! my eyes burnt with the fumes, i cant get pass the where i wanna me.... i'm not even sure whether did i make a wish or not hahaha.... blur d....

phew...7 days of travelling around.. rushing here and there...i'm home!!!!! HOME SWEET HOME :P i'm tired but happy ^_^ i'd really like to visit Angkor City again..this time..i'd like to take my own sweet time...visit each and every one of the temples... climb the hills and watch the sunset that will blanket the whole Angkor Wat in gold.... I'll definitely go back for more!

The FA Cup Final

For starters.. um.. I'm not a huge soccer fan so don't expect me to elaborate this in detail. Yeah I do watch EPL from time to time and my only source of updates are from friends, the papers and my dear ex-roomate from MMU (long live Sharen!!!! or i call her OnnOnn ^_^) Onn Onn have a great younger brother that text-message her every result of ManUtd team whenever there's a game.. sigh..I do miss her. So tonite, I actually at on the couch the whole nite watching more than 120 minutes of soccer.. I can't believe it myself either :P It was sad to see that MU had lots of chances but still failing to score any goals with all the attackings in the 2nd half of the game. Finally, Arsenal won 5-4 on penalty shoot out.

Today is Wesak day, we brought grandma to the new buddhist monastery that was loacted somewhere in Kuala Langat today. It's the newly build Fuo Guang Shan (the Light of Buddha) Zen Dong Temple, wow the place is huge with a main hall, beautiful parks and even an art and culture exhibition centre. I like the entrance, there are many small little stone monks figures with different different posture, they're so cute!! Wish I would be able post some of the photos we shoot here but I dun have it with me currently. They even have those little monks with the 12 chinese zodiac stone figure, it really is something that you wont get to see in a normal temple. Everything there is beautifully done and the lanscape decorated by orchids, yeah they have beautiful orchid flowers along the pathway.. alot of them! I love orchids :P cuz u won't get to see a large petal purple and white orchids common around here.. they're beautiful.. and the place is really peaceful :)

Arghh! it's almost 3am in the morning :P I should be sleeping now... I'm still on medication of antibiotic due to.. my stupid dog bite..sigh.. gnitez ppl (-_-)zzzz

my blog revived...

ok, let's recreate this blog and start all over again.. I'm never good in writing blogs or even journals of my own.. it's more of a..um wrote one, then lalala and came back to it after ages and when i read the last entry, it always made me smile :)
Finally, I'm out of my university years and currently, how should I put it... I'm officially grad and unemployed... haha.. I'm joining the Malaysian statistics of 90,000 unemployed grads! here I am..the 90,001.. yeah... ok, it's not really a good thing to be proud of :P Overall, I am pretty happy that I have finally, successfuly slogged thru my four years of university life...life in hostel, burning midnite oil for last minute project work and studies, just the thought of labouring through my final year project makes me shudder. But of course, throughout the years, I've met some really wonderful people, friends that inspires me, friends that never let me down, all of the bits and pieces of happy moments made up a huge canvas of beautiful memories and great friendships. Cheers! my friends!~~
Currently my daily routine is browsing jobstreet and the recruitment section in papers..circle some ads and sending out applications...then after a week... why is nobody calling me for interview!!!! sad rite.. maybe I should double check my email add or mobile number to make sure there's no mistakes in them and probably I really need a major revamp on my CV.. sigh.. help me....

In addition to that, something worse happened...I got bitten by my own dog!!! ok.. u may ask, what on earth are u doing till u actually get bitten by your own dog??!!! yeah, it sounds stupid.. lesson number one: never interfere with a dog when they are eating.. no matter how disgusting or yucky the "food-like" substance that dog is eating, even the "substance" is resting in a dirt-filled drain... DO NOT INTERFERE especially using your own leg/foot... and GNAWED...now u get holes in your foot caused by saliva filled canine teeth... and i can assure u it does not feel good. In the end, I need to fork out RM50 for an injection, could not walk normally as one of the wound is at the sole of my foot, and I am now on strike against my dog! I'm not going to sayang him, I'm not goind to feed him (used to be my job but now my sis takes over for obvious reason :P ) and i'm NOT even gonna take a glance at him!!!! not in this week! i can feel that he's been really sad about it... does dog really know wat's happening and feel our emotions? or it's just me? ok watever... i always have this soft spots for dogs... actually towards any furry creature with four legs :P more than 4 legs and i'll go eww... I am sad to hear that the goverment is banning dogs in Shah Alam.. personally I don't think dogs possessed as a harmful animal if it wasn't being provoked ( though i just got bitten by one hehe) but I still stand at the point that a dog's definitely a man's best friend! They're loyal, they care for you and there is read countless stories out there on how these furry little creature actually saves lifes. We should not let one or two dog attack cases ruined them. Unfortunate things do happens and we should not let the shock and speculations clouds our mind, let us not let a single pea spoil the whole pot. So no matter wat happened, even he bit me, I still love my dog, Nikki (^_^) though, I'm still not sayang-ing him for hmm maybe a few more days more as punishment hehe...
